I'm running Firefox 88.0.1 on a Windows 7 desktop and a Mac OS 10.14.6 laptop. After syncing the bookmarks on both machines for the first time, the Mac can no longer save new bookmarks or edit old ones. The PC, on the other hand, is fine. I don't know if something went awry during the sync process or if this problem has nothing to do with that, but the timing is suspicious. I tried disconnecting the Mac and PC, turning off sync, and restarting Firefox, but that didn't solve the problem. The PC already runs all those extensions except for HTTPS Everywhere. I also just installed Bitdefender antivirus on the Mac. I've been using Bitdefender on the PC for years with no issues.
