Could somebody please tell me, is it possible to store history for more than 10 years? I want it to never be deleted, if possible. Is it stored on my computer only or is it also stored on servers? so if something happens with my computer I can log in again and see all my browser history and bookmarks. If my history is stored for a long period of time only on my computer, maybe I can copy that file that stores it along with other data and save it somewhere?

Ok then with history the only thing I can do is copy the places.sqlite file every so often, right?

Recently, I've been creating a monthly history archive using this program:

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/mozilla_history_view.html

That's a manual process, and I suppose it's possible that some pages were lost during the month, and the HTML page I'm saving needs editing to fit on the screen, but it suits my needs for now.

Example screenshot attached.

You may need to set Windows to show hidden files and folder to point the program to the correct places.sqlite database. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files

Oh, I'm really afraid of losing some pages so I suppose I will continue to just copy my whole profile from time to time. I hope I will be able to change my profile files easily. Is there any way of saving the whole history without losing anything?

Not using built-in features, no, no guarantees.

But copying the whole profile folder from time to time seems guaranteed to save everything as I understand, right?

You can save the file regularly, but there's no guarantee that every single new visit between your backups will be in the file. All or nearly all of them should be in there, but it's not guaranteed.

It won't be convenient, but I think I will continue to do this. It deletes older history as it seems. But if there's something else that I can use, that would be great
