I saw that someone posted as similar question a while ago but it wasn't answered. I prefer using 64-bit Firefox except its plugin support is still limited (e.g. Java). Instead of relying on Internet Explorer (Edge and Chrome don't support Java either), is there a way to install 32-bit Firefox and have both versions on my Windows machine? My fear is that installing 32-bit Firefox will just replace 64-bit Firefox.

You can You can consider to install a 32 bit portable Firefox version.

The portable version comes with its own profile folder and doesn't interfere with currently installed Firefox versions.

Any particular reason that you are using the Firefox 51.0 Beta version? User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:51.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/51.0 The frequency of updates on the pre-release channels would drive me bat-shit crazy.  ;>)

As cor-el already mentioned, you can use the Firefox Portable 32-bit version, but "installing" plugins isn't anywhere near as easy as with the "official" versions from Mozilla. Firefox Portable doesn't look to the Windows Registry and use already installed DLL files for the Plugins; each one needs to be manually placed in the correct folder in the Firefox Portable directory. Further information can be found at the Firefox Portable support fora. http://portableapps.com/forums/support/firefox_portable Plus, Firefox Portable can't be launched if another Firefox installation is running; you would get a message that "Firefox is already running".
