There is this site http://jerz.setonhill.edu/resources/PSim/applet/index.html which I cannot make run no matter what. I read the support article on how to enable Java and added the address to trusted sites. Still no luck. I have the latest version of Java. On IE the site works fine. What can I do?

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open the Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)

On the left side of the page, select Plugins. Make sure the ones you want to use are set to Ask or Allow.

Go to the web page. Once the page is loading, mouse to the address bar and Left click the icon. A window for displaying site information should come up. Select More Information. Now select Permissions. In the menu, Make sure the ones you want to use are set to Ask or Allow.

Shockwave Flash 19.0 r0 Shockwave Flash 11.9 r900
Having more than one version of a program may cause issues. You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.

Note: Edge on Win10 does not use ActiveX version but its own Flash.

Flash: Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac

Then reinstall the latest version.

Flash Player Version 19.0.0.245
https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
Note: Windows users should download the ‘’’active_x’’’ for “Internet Explorer,” and the ‘’’plugin’’’ for “Plugin-based browsers” (like Firefox).

Adobe still offers Flash 18.0.0.255 as its extended support release further down

In the meantime the problem seems to have solved itself before I managed to follow any of our tips. I'm not sure whether it was something I did or something the site owners did. I did make sure, though, to uninstall the old Flash version. Thanks.
