Can I add Print button to Thunderbird?
Is there a way to add a Print "button" or printer icon to Thunderbird without having to click File or More to get to Print. For example, if I'm viewing an email I want to print it would be quicker if I just had a printer icon or button to click on.

Your method is perfectly ok. You were using the 'Menu bar' - File, Edit , View etc 'View' > 'Toolbars' > 'Customize '
which although you and I use it, it is not always enabled by default, hence why I gave the other option via the 'Mail Toolbar'.
If people only see the 'Mail Toolbar' - Menu icon, Get Messages, Write etc then they would use the Menu icon and not locate that info under 'View'. It would be here: 'Menu Icon' > 'Options' > 'Toolbar Layout'
It would have much easier if the developers had used same generic terms and same logic in where to locate toolbar info regardless of whether it was in the Menu Bar or under the Menu icon.

'Menu Icon' > 'Options' > 'Toolbar Layout' OR right click on 'Mail Toolbar' and select 'Customise'
a 'Customise Toolbar' window opens. Left click and hold down on 'Print' icon and drag to the 'Mail Toolbar' Release mouse to drop onto that toolbar. Click on 'Done'.
Thanks Toad. I had to do it a little differently than you said. I had to click View, Toolbars, Customize . But I got it done. My version is 38.3.0. Maybe you've got a newer version or something.

Got it. I see what you mean. Agree with you on the generic terms.
