The WorldIP extension like most hosted at addons.mozilla.org is made by a third-party. If the Author says Mozilla or Mozilla labs for example then it was made by Mozilla.

Just think what Firefox would be like now if every useful extension that people thought should be added in was actually added in. Also when by chance an extension is put it in it is often a more stripped down version.

Phishing too" whatfor to hesitate and ask The Creator "Alrond" to implement Add-on to every version of any mozilla firefox? "thought should be added" you said, I am saying: you are not able to understand how important is to implement this add-on as default to Firefox. You do not understand how bad it is when you are loosing USD $ 1 000 000 from your bank account only because Mozilla's people are not informed what PHISHING, DNS Spoofing and DNS cache poisoning is. The Guy has created this add-on. I said: I am testing it 5 months.

This add-on is about SECURITY of every mankind on earth for free. You are blind, reading it. You do not seem to understand what the network attack can. Till you will not loose your money from bank account regularly, you will not understand THE VALUE of this addon.

I am fully informed about what cyber-criminal can do, without mozilla's basic protection with WorldIP addon improved. You are not. Browsing your favourite website without it, and bang! Read again. Browse networks "what cyber-criminal can with these attacks" against which this add-on is. Concious of threats will agree with me that "WE NEED THIS" for our protection. You are not concious of threats and knowledge about it like an lonely dog in North Korea. Read again and browse for knowledge about network threats because you are not concious and yeh don't know how much this addon can block yearly.

I said much what everybody else who has seen and dealt with requests to hundreds of <extension name> in Firefox over eleven years whether here or on the independent mozillaZIne forums.

Mozilla takes security seriously and is often to be the first to have a fix when it affects multiple browsers for example. If they were to think this extension or features from it would be useful then they will contact the author about it.
