How can I open a spreadsheet in MS Excel when I'm using private browsing?

I'm doing my banking in private browsing and use my spreadsheet to manage my accounts. I have 5 bank accounts and 2 savings accounts that I update while doing online banking. I have two screens, it would be nice if one could be used for my spreadsheet which I do when not using private browsing. I can bring up the spread sheet in private browsing as an HTML page if I save it like that, but it's read only, cannot use it as a spread sheet.

Where is your spreadsheet stored?

There's no way Private Browsing should affect your ability to access your own documents.
