I can't get Firefox to start at all. It won't even open so I can't reset it. Can you help?

Firefox has been my browser for the last 7 years and I have never had a problem with it. But over the weekend it crashed and now it just won't open. I've uninstalled and redownloaded it but it still won't open. I can't reset anything as I can't get into it. I'm not sure what recent updates or add ons I had.

I really want to continue using Firefox as it's a great browser but I need it to open. Please can you help?

Nothing in Firefox support fixes my problem!!!! I updated firefox and now I get the following error message. Your firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible. All of the suggestions start with an open firefox, if you can't open it you can't try to fix it. I need more help than this. Can anyone help me?

You can use the Profile Manager to create a new profile.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem.
