I have to reinstall windows back into my computer but I am hoping that I do not lose my bookmarks in Firefox once I reinstall everything. I am hoping that Firefox can saves these for me once everything is done in a few hours.

The advice posted above by VivekWilfred will allow you to get the bookmarks back. If you have anything else important such as passwords settings and customisations, along with add-ons and plugins you may need to think about what else will need restoring. I tend to copy the whole profile including sub files and folders.

Note that the linked articles are not dealing with backing up your plugins, they are effectively separate programs used by Windows and Firefox and should be part of your Windows backup, however you may need to consider when and how they were installed and how you are reinstalling everything.

If, for instance, you are reinstalling Windows as it was in an out of the box condition from say a recovery partition, then if the plugins were installed later they will not be present to re-install, in which case it may be worth seeing if you still have the install files for them.
