I don't want the ASK toolbar, nowhere does it tell me how to remove it.

I just dowloaded Firefox 4 and I have an ASK toolbar. I don't want ASK searches. How can I remove the ASK toolbar from Firefox 4? I actually prefer the interface from Firefox 3 much better. The icons in the new version seem meaningless. Change for the sake of change doesn't impress me very much.

If I don't know what an icon represents, wouldn't a text word be better?

There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

If you do not like the new UI, you can make Firefox 4 look and behave more like Firefox 3.6, for details see http://www.computertechtips.net/64/make-firefox-4-look-like-ff-3-6
