why did firefox quit accessing the web after the last update?

after the last firefox update my firefox will no longer access the web. IE works but not firefos and Firefox is my favorite browser

What exactly do yo mean by not accessing the web ?
does firefox work normally otherwise eg can it open suitable files on your own computer ?
