Firefox worked fine when I first downloaded it but something happened and I started getting the message "The proxy server is refusing connnetions". At the same time Internet Exp 8 quit working but my DSL support was able to get me connected via IE8. I tried removing Firefox and downloading again but I still get the same message. How can I fix this?

You can find the connection settings in Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"
