Can't remove the bookmarks button in the bookmarks toolbar

In my bookmarks toolbar there's a "Bookmarks" button I can't seem to remove. I never use this button and would prefer it to be gone so an extra bookmark can take up this place.

Is there some kind of tweak/addon that I can use to remove this useless button?

I gave everything an extra hard look and noticed an extra button appear in the toolbar above while I was editing the toolbar layout.

Apparently this IS the bookmarks button and is displaying text on the toolbar below? Anyways, if you remove this button this problem is solved:
