Automatic redirect in library search
Hello, I used to have access to two different universities' databases and repositories – MAU and SU – but my SU access recently expired. I think the two universities use the same search platform. Now, when I try to search via MAU, I get automatically redirected to the SU results page and am prompted to log into an SU account that is no longer active and valid. I have tried figuring out how to change the settings behind this redirection but I have no more ideas about what may be causing it or where I should be looking to figure it out.

Site redirects aren't a Firefox browser caused but comes from the site itself with the url changes or incorrect url issues. This is for that university to fix their redirects not Firefox forum or browser to fix their problem url redirects.
I have the same issue. I used to have an UNAM account and in the past it requested to redirect. Now I don't have access anymore, but if I wish to read something from, let's say www.sciencedirect.com, it automatically redirects to UNAMs login page.
If I understand correctly this is a problem from UNAMs site? how come if I am pingin www.sciencedirect.com? It is quite annoying, all academic pages redirect now to UNAMs login practically disallowing me to use firefox for this.
