I've had Thunderbird for years, 20+ maybe. I opened my email the other day and it prompted me for my password, which it NEVER does. I put it in, which is how I'm typing to you now, and it WILL NOT accept it. A 1014 error pops up. I've tried all the things suggested on line to no avail. Why did it suddenly stop working? Eric

Who's your e-mail provider? If it's MicroSoft (Hotmail/Outlook) they are changing the way you log-in. Other providers may be doing something similar as well.
- What OS are yous using?
- What version of Thunderbird are you using?
- Please post an image of that error pop up message.
- It would also be helpful to understand the server settings of the accounts you have created.
In Thunderbird
- Help > Troubleshooting Information
- Scroll down to 'Mail and News Accounts'
- Copy all the data in that section and paste it into this question in forum OR post an image showing the 'Mail and News Accounts' section.
