Hi
What page gives you this error ?
It is possible that you get this because you have disabled some essential features in Firefox.
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).
"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"
"Clear the Cache":
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

It is the normal/usual login page of GMX Germany (Email Account): https://www.gmx.net/ It worked with FF79 (and earlier) very well!
hi, there are also reports that this page would be shown when noscript or umatrix are blocking javascript on gmx. could this be the case for you?
No, settings are the same - no restriction by noscript.
The update to 80.0.1 solved the problem not!
update to 80.0.1 is without fixing the problem!
i have an account on that site as well but no problems on login with current versions of firefox, so i don't think it's a general problem with the browser or new versions. have you tried the various troubleshooting options that cor-el has recommended before?
I tried all the troubleshooting options by cor-el --- no solution. Login worked with FF79 (and earlier - same preferences) very well and now on OPERA and PALE MOON 28.12.0 too. Thats the end of using FIREFOX!
