Migration from the late Session Manager [Solved.]
HI! I didn't use Firefox since 2016 or 2017 and I need to get back to it. I've noticed the Session Manager add-on is no longer supported. I found the last version that works properly with it is 53. Since I have A LOT of data stored in Session Manager snapshots, I need a way to bring my Firefox up to date without losing it. What would be the recommended way? I understand I would need to install another session manager that is compatible with modern Firefox and save all the needed sessions with it? I tried to do it, but frankly failed. Some managers don't work beyond 57, some do, but still won't properly save my sessions/work in 53 (Session Sync, MySessions,Tab Session Manager). Please note I'm dabbling with my historical Firefox profile, and they seem not to work 100% even under Firefox 53. Please help, it's a major roadblock for me. I'm on Windows Windows 10 Home 64-bit revision 17763.615. PS. The automatic adding of Troubleshooting Information doesn't work, the link is wrong.

You have several options.
1) Use a version of Firefox that still supports Session Manager. I am still using v54 as my primary.
2) Install a version that supports Session Manager, get whatever information you want from it, then upgrade to the current.
Install Older Version Of Firefox {web link} Be sure to read everything here.
If you still want to downgrade, look under; I still want to downgrade. Click the Directory of other versions and languages link. Look for the directory of the version that you want. But, remember that old versions may have security issues.

Hi, thanks for prompt reply. I'm currently on 53 and it kind of works (for some reason I have no access to bookmarks and history, though). I understand I'd need to update at some time, so perhaps better to do it now. The ESR seems to be already past Session Manager compatibility, so I guess that's not a solution. Hence, scenario no. 2. I tried to go this way, but, as mentioned, I have no idea how to get the needed information, and that's basically the core of my request. All my attempts failed. BRG Antoni
