I have checked the saved passwords and they are all there. However, when I click on a web site to visit that requires a user name and password, they will not auto fill. I'm not sure how to fix it. Also, there is no "key" symbol next to where the web address goes. I have a green lock and and i in a circle, that's it. When I typed the address for this site the prompt came up to save the user name and password. This is the first time I have visited here. So the save function is working, the memory function is not. Please help. Thanks - Joanne

Are you using any password add-ons/programs?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

The Key icon in the location bar will only appear if you have filled and submitted the form on the web page and this name/password combination isn't saved or the name is saved and the password is different (i.e. an update might be necessary).

Can you right-click name and password field on the web page and use "Fill Login" and "Fill Password" to fill the saved login credentials?
