This only happens with some files usually mp3 and mp4 etc. The download is stuck in the position showed in the image attached. I have tried reinstalling, didn't fix anything. How can i fix this?

Is this with many websites, some, a few? Any errors reported?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Hi, unfortunately this did not fix the issue. A few sites have this issue. I have tried to attach a screenshot, but it has been stuck on uploading for a while. In the download box it says "Unknown time left - 0 bytes (0bytes/sec)" and has the blue bar with the white moving across it.

It is possible that security software (anti-virus, firewall) is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
