I would like to search for emails sent by a specific sender over a specific period of time and containing specific text in the body.

I would like to have just the emails meeting the criteria appear, so I don't have to manually search through a larger list of messages.

I haven't found documentation for this and can't figure out how to do it. Would appreciate some help.

Chosen solution

If you want to search a specific account, or a specific folder, with or without subfolders, use Edit/Find/Search Messages (or Search Messages from the right-click menu) and set the criteria as in the attached picture. 'Save as Search Folder' if you perform this search often.

To search all accounts, use Global Search (Ctrl+K), which has several filters, e.g. sender, account etc., and can filter by date by clicking the bars in the timeline histogram.

Oh, of course. Now I remember that I had used search several times (it is too easy to overlook).

I usually use the filter for simple searches because it can readily display many results, while "search" shows only a few results at a time. That can become cumbersome.

Anyway, thank you for the rapid response!
