Why is archive options greyed out in Thunderbird 52.6.0
I am looking to change an option setting to move old messages to a single folder. Or if there is a way to hide a single folder in the folder heirarchy displayed.
Chosen solution

In the case of gmail IMAP accounts, other and setting to All mail is the setting that does not fight with the gmail server.
