I want to download "More Functions for address book" add on to recover lost address book entries. There are two versions offered, namely, 1.0b3 version (TB 3.0 or higher), or 0.5.9.2 version (TB 1.0 - 2.0), yet my Thunderbird says that I have version 52.0. These are completely different numbers. Which add on is compatible with version 52?

Chosen solution

MorefunctionsforAddressBook 0.5.9.2 version (TB 1.0 - 2.0) This says it is only suitable for Thunderbird versions 1.0 - 2.0. TB version 52 is not version TB version 1.0 or 2.0

MorefunctionsforAddressBook 1.0b3 version (TB 3.0 or higher) This says it is suitable for Thunderbird versions 3.0 or higher. TB version 52 is higher than TB version 3.0, so you need 1.0b3 version.

Once you have downloaded the xpi file and then installed as addon.

Open 'Address Book' 'Tools' > 'MoreFunctionsForAddressBook' > 'Actions For addressbooks' > 'Recover/Restore' see image.
