Where are the Firefox update files located on Mac?

I'm really disappointed with Firefox 57 basically getting rid of my add-ons, so I have reverted back to 56.0.2 and have deselected automatic updates. But once I close the browser and it updates back to 57 again, so I'm looking for where the update file is located to delete it. Thanks in advance.

On Mac Firefox saves a pending update in the hidden Caches folder location. MAC: ~/Library/Caches/Mozilla/updates/Applications/Firefox/updates/

I'm not on a Mac right now but maybe this will help:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/940795 An update was downloaded without my permission, and it says Install pending... how do I prevent it from installing?

That's pretty old and likely does not apply anymore. I don't see any folders in the application contents.
