My Thunderbird email is not working at all. I have not received an email in weeks. It will not load and I get a message that it has timed out. What's wrong?

I recently re-upped my telephone service plan with AT&T. Since that time my Thunderbird email is not working. This email account is connected to my webpage that is hosted by AT&T. It seems ironic that my email stopped working around the same time that AT&T did some changes to my account. They have been no help. I have exhausted every repair tip you offer and nothing is working. I am sure I have missed dozens of emails in the past month and hate to think of how my small business has suffered. When trying to retrieve messages on Thunderbird all I get is the loading circle of doom and then a message pops up that I have timed out. I have tried re-loading Thunderbird. I had AT&T undo the changes that were made to my web account. Nothing is helping. Can you tell me what I need to do?

No that doesn't help at all. Tried it several times. Kept calling AT&T. Apparently they have themselves as my dsl carrier. They are not. They tell me they can repair it but so far not so good

Try reinstalling Thunderbird using a download from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/
