why won't paste function work, editing Disqus comment.
When I try to edit a Disqus comment, the call for clipboard to paste, does not work. I tried this on Chrome, no problems. Firefox beta had the same problems before this last stable update 49. I have done the usual, clear cache, cookies, reload, rebooting, etc. For some reason, the native clipboard functions don't work with Firefox Android. HTC m9 6.0 os. Something broke because I never had problems pasting into Disqus while editing before. But now, Firefox Android is using the Android clipboard with its toolbar, and that was not how it worked before. I have often edited my comments to include a link, or other text. And I would hate to be forced to use Chrome to do that. If you need anything more, please let me know.

Hello there, This looks like problem with the OS rather than the browser to me. I would suggest you to go to settings > apps > Firefox > clear defaults. i think there's an issue with the default clipboard settings.
If you still face an issue, i would recommend you to reinstall Firefox
Please let me know if it helped you.
Hi, and thanks for taking the time to respond.
You might be right that it is an os problem. I just tested it again, and at first the paste tool bar was called up, but it was way down over the keyboard. So, I could have missed it before because it blended in with the background. But then it tried it a second time, and it did not call up the tool bar, so, I'll play with it some more, and report back later.
As to the Firefox default question, there were none set.
I also discovered that today, I could not copy any text from a facebook page. Seems that's a common problem from what I found in a search. Even after I logged into fb it did not allow clipboard at all. I could share a link though, but, that's bs. Thanks again (-:
