Can't type text in emails
Hi All
I'm having a problem with typing text in emails.
Regardless of whether it's a new email or a reply to an existing one, I can chose recipients and type a subject.
When I click on the box to write the text, it won't let me do anything. No cursor appears and I can't use the box. This is a bit of a limitation for an email program!
I'm running Windows 7 (all up-to-date).
I'm sure I can't be the first person to experience this?
Thank you for any help in advance!
James

On the page to which I referred you there are instructions on how to confirm that safe mode is activated. I'm glad it's working now.

Could you please close and restart Thunderbird in safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird
Thank you for your reply! I've restarted as instructed but can't see any indication that it's in 'safe mode'. Should anything look different?
BUT... now I can type text into messages!

Thank you. I had one extension called 'ExQuilla for Microsoft Exchange'. I deleted that and now it works.
Thank you for your help.
