I've loaded a new computer with a clean install of Win7. 6 identical user accounts were created. At this point the only difference among the accounts is the username and password. After installing Firefox only three of the users can open the program. For some users Firefox does not start, no error messages, no response at all. Any ideas would be welcomed.

Thanks,

Bill,

Does this happen with the first (initial) installation (i.e. a Firefox profile folder hadn't been created)?

Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift (Mac: Options) key to see if that helps.

Try to run the Firefox program once as Administrator (right-click: Run as Administrator). Also make sure that your security software allows all users.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that helps.
