I keep getting a screen that states' your connection is not secure' no matter what search I do, out IT dept cannot figure out why I keep getting this mYessage:
I cannot bring up a screen other than:
Your connection is not secure
The owner of milogintp.michigan.gov has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.
Learn more… I need to get into this website in order to do my job. The state of Michigan told me to download firefox in order to facilitate a better work experience on their website but this browser does not work since I keep getting the 'secure connection' message anytime I try to go to website. Our IT dept couldn't figure it out, said firefox must have an update, or some such nonsense, I just want to move beyond this crazy message page and be able to work.

Hello cathie, please see : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER
thank you
Although the error message says --
The owner of milogintp.michigan.gov has configured their website improperly.
-- the problem on well-run sites usually is local to your system. The above article covers the usual issues.
However, if that doesn't help...
Some business environments use a proxy to control network access, and if this is a new installation of Firefox, it may need to be set up to work with the proxy.
Does your IT regularly support Firefox? Can they reproduce the problem on their own computers or is this limited to your installation of Firefox?
