The Firefox window is completely white except for the three upper-left buttons. I have an iMac 2006 (10.6-8). Safari works fine. What's wrong?

I see someone else had the same problem. I followed the steps given:

1. I tried Safe Mode options. No help.

2. Trashed old Firefox, installed new. No help.

3. There is no org.mozilla.firefox.plist in my Library prefs. So, no help.

What now? Thanks.

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?
