hello, if you are having issues with your hosting provider you'll have to contact their support about it - we are not able to help out with third-party services unfortunately. thank you for your understanding!

a browser cannot erase your pictures - maybe there are some displaying issues, but you'd have to provide a link to the content in question since otherwise it won't be possible to know what exactly is going on...

you can also go through the steps covered in Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should in order to see if this something that can be resolved trough general troubleshooting steps.

Try to update to Firefox 35.0.1 to see if that helps.

  • Help > About

If images are missing then check that you do not block images from some domains.

  • Tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar

Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"

Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images

  • Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
  • If an image in the list is grayed and "Block Images from..." has a checkmark then remove this checkmark to unblock images from this domain.

There are extensions like Adblock Plus (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images and other content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

it took me 3 years to place thousands of photos in my website--i tried the steps to repair without sucess. Go-daddy hosting said that it must be the browser or something else. the pictures are 'broken'. this means my whole format is messed up without the pictures. this breaks my heart.--very depressing--and what if i re-enter all the pictures and it disappears again? i still hope someone can offer a fix. i'm praying. it's jesusphoto.info i was working on page 33 when for no reason, all pictures on 34 pages vanished after trying to publish. i did nothing different. jesusphoto@yahoo.com

You can open the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer). Check on the Network tab if content is blocked and has a file size 0 (zero).

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.

It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.
