Eg. The times of my searches on 1 September. I have tried - Show All History - Views, but no option for time or date seems to exist. Apologise in advance for stupidity.

You need to use an add-on to digg in your history. Filtering history by date is natively basic in FF.

See this in the Library:

  • Views > Show Columns > Most Recent Visit

Firefox will only show the most recent visit and not older visits although they are stored to be able to calculate the visit count.

That is an exe file, not good for Mac

On Mac you would have to use SQLite Manager and use a specific query to see all history entries for a specific link or time frame.
