library is completely missing items
I am trying to organize my bookmarks because there are three copies showing. When I select "bookmarks" then "organize bookmarks" there is no information present

The panel on the left of the Library List works the same as the Bookmarks sidebar except that it will only show levels of folders -- it will not show bookmarks. The expansion indicator means there are more folders inside. The bookmarks and/or folders for a selected folder will appear in the main listing area.
When you do a search for bookmarks it will search for bookmarks in all folders regardless of what bookmark folder is selected. If you want to see all your bookmarks place a colon(":") in the search area as that is included in "http:", "https:", "file:", "ftp:", and "javascript:".

Sorting applies only within the Library List on the columns it is not permanent. The display of columns is also selected from the view menu. The picture for the column selection contains an additional column, Parent Folder, not included in firefox but one that can be added by the "Show Parent Folder" extension -- it can not be sorted on.
If you want to sort your bookmarks as you see them elsewhere or without sorting by columns in the Library List install the "SortPlaces" extension it will sort all of your bookmarks in a matter of seconds (do not choose automatic sort in the extension;s options(..
