I have asked how to keep from losing all my settings when ever you make changes and have not recieved and answer ever how do I keep from losing setttings

every time you make changes to browser i loose all my setting and bookmarks and such and have to start all over from scratch. I have never had this problem with other browsers and did not have this in the beginning with Firefox but the last several times everything is lost when i download you new browser upgrade. I will have to go to another browser if this continues to happen. I have written several emails to you and never had a answer to my question in a email. I donot want to sync my account with my phone I have enough trouble with it without adding trouble from you too...............I really don't want to hear from some volunteer I want to hear from the help desk that you must have somewhere if not it will be goodbye.............

I use an add-on that makes backups of my user profile, Just In Case. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with the current Firefox.

Every now and then, open the profile folder and create a copy of the current profile as is to another location on your hard drive. This way you will have a backup.

If you do this each day, you will not lose much data. This should be done with Firefox Closed.

Note: In case you need to restore from these backups, you may need to overwrite old or corrupted files.

I don't know where you were sending email to, but Mozilla doesn't offer support via email. Nor is there a "Help Desk". All support is done by volunteers, other user like you right here in this forum.
