I updated from v4.0.1 to v14.0.1 and all works except the extension Cooliris (outdated). But personas was lost, they still reside inside the profile folder though.

Is there any way to get them working again without re-adding them?.

It's a collection of 75 personas i like very much.

Or is there an extension that can load personas from a specific folder?.

Only the image files of the currently selected persona are stored in the Firefox profile folder.
All other personas are loaded from the server if you choose another persona.

The list of installed personas is stored in prefs.js in the Firefox Profile Folder in the lightweightThemes.usedThemes pref in JSON object format ({"id":"#","name":"xxx",...}).

If you like a persona then it is always best to save a copy of the lightweighttheme-header and lightweighttheme-footer files in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the persona is no longer available on the persona server.

I don't think you read the message.

There is 75 personas that does exist in profile_folder/personas/

I assume that you have or had an extension to manage the personas because this is no default behavior.
It is best to make a backup of the folder with the personas to make sure that you do not lose them.

In that case you need to reinstall the extension to make it possible to use the content of that folder to switch the current persona.

I resetted the settings, and then reinstalled persona extensions, this did not affect anything

The only thing that actually changed is that i can not restore the UI settings fully. Textbox with results from google doesn't get 77% transparent white.

Which is annoying too.

If you have the personas in a folder on your hard drive, but do not see any personas in "Tools > Add-ons > Appearance" then then the lightweightThemes.usedThemes pref that save the list of all personas got lost.
