The only time Firefox loads as a window is when I start it up in safe mode.

Fix this problem or I will switch.

Every time Firefox opened

Have you tried Firefox Safe Mode or looked at any of the artilces about Firefox hanging? The problem could be caused by one or more of your many Extensions or Plugins or a conflict between two or more of them.

Safe Mode You may need to use Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode (click on "Safe Mode" and read) to localize the problem. Firefox Safe Mode is a diagnostic mode that disables Extensions and some other features of Firefox. If you are using a theme, switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes before starting Safe Mode. When entering Safe Mode, do not check any items on the entry window, just click "Continue in Safe Mode". Test to see if the problem you are experiencing is corrected.

If the problem does not occur in Safe-mode then disable all of your Extensions and Plug-ins and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. You MUST close and restart Firefox after EACH change via File > Restart Firefox (on Mac: Firefox > Quit). You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window.

TXGuy did you actually read every word I typed?

I quite clearly said this: "The only time Firefox loads as a window is when I start it up in safe mode." Yet you asked if I used safe mode.

I also quite clearly said this: "Firefox will only show up in the Process tab of Windows Task Manager." Yet again you asked a question that was already had answer.

Quit asking questions when the answer was given to you already if you had read what I typed.

Since all the help I am getting is stupid useless questions from idiots who can't bother to read since the questions were previously answered, I am switching to another browser. Good riddance Firefox.

TXguy was only trying to help you. He is a volunteer and so am I. He said that you can start Firefox mode and that it might be caused by an Extension or plugin. Please see the Troubleshooting Extensions and themes link he gave you.
