Hello!

Similar to Ludas question of 11/11/23: There was an update about 10 days ago, after which the Quick Filter started working terribly slowly: 1. Even before I have written the entire keyword (including email address), Thunderbird starts "thinking" and crashes (Not Responding). 2. After some time, about 1+ minute, results appear. 3. I went through Safe Mode on Windows and Troubleshoot Mode on Thunderbird - no change.

This account has ~52k letters, IMAP. For accounts with a small number of letters, there is no such delay.

mp18,

If this still occurs in version 128 with Windows in safe mode https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode, then a performance profile is needed https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiling-thunderbird-performance and please file a bug report with the link to the performance profile.
