I'm using Thunderbird 88.0b1 on Manjaro Linux 21.0. I've noticed this problem since the update to 87.0b1 The option to save a password for the SMTP server is not available. I get this dialog which does not show the option to save the password:

I have tried the solution posted here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1279691#answer-1289964 to delete the three files and restart. I do get the option to save passwords on the IMAP accounts but not on the SMTP account.

Any ideas?
