I' currently trying to get Firefox Sync on my Android Tablet (7.1.2, LineageOS) working. On my PC (Windows & Ubuntu) as well as on my mobile (Android 7.1.2, LineageOS, Firefox Nightly) I was able to login to Firefox sync but on my tablet I'm not able to use Sync.

After logging in with my email & password and inserting my 2FA it says Firesox is connected but in the Firefox-settings there is no account shown. Also in my device settings there is no Firefox account listed. I've already tried using the stable Firefox and the Nightly. Also uninstalling and rebooting changed nothing. I also deactivated LineageOS' Privacymode for Firefox.

I was finally able to login to my sync account. (Root needed for fix)

I noticed in the Android-logs that there was an error with an UNIQUE-key in a SQLite database.

So I checked the files /data/system_de/accounts_de.db and /data/system_ce/accounts_ce.db and noticed that records in the accounts table of accounts_de.db where missing (They should have the same id, name and type as in accounts_ce. I edited the accounts and rebooted my tablet and I was able to connect to my Firefox-Sync account.
