When I click on Outgoing Server to edit settings, the Wizard gives me the following message:

An account with this name already exists. Please enter a different account name.

Yes, and I'm trying to EDIT that account, not create a new one ...

HELP!?

Before clicking on outgoing server change the name of the account you are on, add a one or something. There are two accounts in the account list with the same name at the moment.

Thunderbird just won't let me change the Outgoing Mail address. This prevents me from answering any mail. What do I do now?

The normal process is to ask your own question, something you appear to have done three times in the past.

But in the interest of saving my time. Right click your account in the folder pane Select settings scroll to the bottom of the account list select outgoing server (SMTP) and get on with editing things.

YES, ask your own question. This in not in the slightest bit related to what Jane was asking and she does not need to get emails from you and me about your issue.
