www.politico.com does not display images preceding topic titles and the Wuerker 'cartoons' do not display. This behavior is different from Internet Explorer where both issues are resolved.

Firefox does display the topmost image block and the magazine images.

I have looked at the Firefox help files and: o The site ID is not to the left of the web site address, and o browser.display.use_document_colors is not in about:config

I s'pose that I don't really mind the images not being present, but the Wuerker cartoons are another matter.

I hope there is some resolution and thanks art

The site uses a method called "lazy loading" to defer the retrieval of the thumbnail-sized images. A script loads them "just in time" as you scroll the page.

Do you use any add-ons which might inhibit scripts from running?

Also, the images load from

static2.politico.com

in case there is any reason that particular server would be blocked.

I can give you a list of addons but nothing strikes me as excluding images. I do note that under "options" I don't seem to able to specify that javascript is ok, or what did you mean by a 'script loads'? I interpret this statement as meaning that a politico.com or mozilla 'script' does lazy loading. If so, I suspect that I am not executing this script. Any ideas on how i can enable it?
