I have searched on the web and all I have found suggested as a solution are instructions for clearing the cache and cookies. I have tried clearing the cache but it is not the same as shift-reload which works fine on normal computers. It is not forcing a reload of CSS and SCRIPT files referenced in the page. I am using Firefox 45.0.2 on an Xperia Z1. Android version is 5.1.1.

Clearing Cache only only not good enough I guess,so all you need to clear all cookies data and clear history too. After this restart again the browser .

Few more things that can help :

type about:cache in url and hit enter, you will see "Information about the Network Cache Storage Service" with three modules such as : memory, disk and appcache . For convenience take a snapshot before clearing cache and cookies and after clearing the same.

Now compare with before and after clearing cache and cookies .

Thanks for that advice. The "about:cache" enables me to clear the cache without discarding the history, and this solves my problem well.
