How to remove v29 and install v26 to Windows xp
I run Windows XP SP3 with out any problems. Months ago I installed V26 and works great. This week a web page suggested that I upgrade Firefox to view pages. I installed V29 and now experiencing several problems such as slow operation and PDF files that will not display and can not be saved. I uninstalled FF V29 and then veiwed your old version web page and selected V26. Completed the download and to my surprise the install version is V29 again. How do I completely remove V29 and download V26 and then install? I found all of the V26 files on your data base with out any instructions on how to download or install off line. Please help. Thanks, Dave

Usually it is recommended to download the latest version.if the version 29 is causing unexpected problems please submit your feedback to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-older-version-of-firefox. Using older versions will make the system vulnerable In most cases.if you cannot view pdf files go to Edit-->Preferences-->appearances.Search for pdf select preview in firefox. Also if you are facing problems with the pdf viewer check this link https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/view-pdf-files-firefox-without-downloading-them#w_troubleshoot-problems-with-the-pdf-viewer. Also if firefox is slow check these thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/997395. If you insist on installing the older version you can download from https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/
edit: fixed second last link by adding a space as the word "if" was a part of the link.
