How do I add Firefox to the list of Default Programs in Win 7?
I wasn't able to set Firefox as the default browser in Firefox options, and also can't set it as the default in the 'Set your default programs' screen in Windows 7; it isn't listed there.
Can anyone please tell me how I can get Firefox added to this 'Set your default programs' list? I can edit the registry, if necessary.

thank you

I'm afraid that this doesn't help. From the research I've done, I suspect I need text to add to the registry to make Firefox appear in the default programs list.
Incidentally, I may not be able to reply after this to messages in this thread, as much as I would like to. I just received a bewildering message indicating that my IP address has been banned from the Mozilla board until April 14 -- although this message is the only one I've posted on the board for several years!
If an answer is given, though, I hope I can view it ... on another computer, if necessary.
Ignore that "banned" message, it is false.
Sorry, I can't offer a solution to your Default Programs listing problem.
Thanks for the response. I really scratched my head when I saw that IP ban message!
