Why do my search results come back in Japanese from the tool bar? United States
When I type a search on the Firefox search bar, the results populate in Japanese. I have uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled. I do not have this problem with IE, Google Chrome, or Yahoo search. I am running Windows 7 on a fairly new HP laptop. At first I thought it may have been a virus, but looking at other forums, many posts have said that it is the search engine confusing the IP address. I also have the latest AVG and Windows Defender.

If you use Google then try to clear the Google cookies.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
- "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Cor-el, I tried both options, it did not work
i got the same problem.. whenever i try to make a search in Google by writing some keywords in the Search Bar, it always displays the search results in a different language. However if i make the same search by going to Google.com and then write search keywords, it shows the search results in the correct language (english).
the solutions provided are not working.. i even created a new profile and checked it from there but the problem is still there...
what shall i do to fix this problem ???
