Occasionally, I may have more than a dozen tabs open, and the browser decides to freeze to the point where I must open the Task Manager and kill the process. Whenever I open up Firefox, it restores all of the tabs without asking me. It usually takes some time for the tabs to load, and at many times, I may have had more than one YouTube video open, so while waiting for the tabs to restore, a cluster of sound ignites. The browser can even freeze while restoring the tabs, causing me to kill the process yet again. When I reopen the browser the second time, I get a nifty menu asking whether I want to restore the tabs or start a new session, and I think "Why couldn't I get this the first time?" Is there any way to get Firefox to show this menu the first time I restart the browser after a crash?

Set the pref http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_cra... to 0 on the about:config page to get the about:sessionrestore page immediately with the first restart after a crash has occurred or the Task Manager was used to close Firefox.
