my thunderbird email was set up in a way that if i would delete an email on thunderbird it would also delete it from my mail app on my iphone. which is fine but on the other hand when i would delete the email on my phone, it would stay in thunderbird on my pc (which is the way i want it to be). Now for some reason something changed and when i delete an email from my phone it also deletes it from TB on my pc. how do i go back to how it was ? (both my pc and iphone are currently set as IMAP) thanks

Thunderbird was originally setup for POP access, while your phone's mail app used IMAP. You need to remove the IMAP account from Thunderbird and add it afresh for POP access.
