Hi,

I am using version 91. I am using the built-in GCal implementation.

On My Google account I have two calendars:

  • Personal
  • Business

I am seeing two different behaviors.

  • When I click to dismiss a recurring event from my Business calendar, nothing happens. The window doesn't disappear and it's as if the window registers nothing.
  • When I click to dismiss a recurring event from my Personal calendar, the event disappears from the window, then reappears immediately. It's as if the dismissal action has no effect other than triggering the event again.

This is new behavior with version 91. Does anyone know why it happens?

Thanks,

L

Is there any way for me to gather more detailed information when I click the "Dismiss button" so I can submit a bug report? Right now, I click an nothing happens. I kill the window with the X button but a few minutes later, the event window appears again.

It is very annoying. The only way I found to fix this is to delete the original event.

I have the same problem. I'm using Thunderbird version 91.5.0 on Pop_OS! 21.10. Same setup: two google calendars; one biz one personal.

I opened the error console (Tools -> Developer Tools -> Error Console). I get error code 403. Here is a sample:

"error": {
 "errors": [
  {
   "domain": "calendar",
   "reason": "forbiddenForNonOrganizer",
   "message": "Shared properties can only be changed by the organizer of the event."
  }
 ],
 "code": 403,
 "message": "Shared properties can only be changed by the organizer of the event."
}

}

I've also uploaded a screenshot of the error.
