The reports are showing issues with the system memory, or lack of. But it also flagged some programs.

Update Malwarebytes. If the problem continues, disable it.

Mr. Fred thanks for offering to help, the Malware Bytes application I have installed for the last 2 days but FF was crashing before so I guess it could be to Norton software which I installed from the beginning.

I have also reduced the number of runnig processes from 8 to 4 and will also run a memtest to see how it goes.

Thanks for your help once more, FF hasnt crashed for about 2 hours now normally it crashes 15-20 times a days, I may need to upgrade to a x64 os soon.

The crash reports are OOM (out of memory) reports where not enough contiguous free memory is available and Firefox crashes when trying to allocate memory.

You do not seem to have a lot of physical memory installed and the page file isn't very large as well (32 bit Windows 7).

Do you let Windows handle the size of the page file?

If that currently isn't the case then try to let Windows automatically manage the page file.

Dear All,

After reducing the content process to 4 and disabling harware acceleration it seems that FF is still crashing a lot. The memtest diagnostic came out ok, but you are all right as the memory is concerned. I am running Windows 7 32 bit and out of 8 gb physical RAM installed only 3,21 gb is available so maybe this is causing the problem. What is strange though is that I also have installed another browser which never crashes.

I have also checked the memory page file and it seems it is handled by windows which should be the correct choice. I have latest Norton Internet Security installed, since it was mentioned that his may be causing the memory leaks, I will have this uninstalled completely and report back tomorrow. This is a work pc on which I am still forced to used a 32 bit o/s due to some old apps I used for my profession.
