So, we have our website....

When we update the website through our web editior, it saves and we can view the changes through a mobile device. However, we can't view the changes through any of the machines in the office?!

I have tried: clearing data/cache; ipconfig /flushdns

Nothing seems to work. I then opend our wesbite through Opera Browser and could see the updated webpage, but through Firefox - the old website...please help :)

I resolved myself. It was related to the hosts file.

Thanks for your thoughts.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

By way of update:

Reinstalled Forefox - didn't work.

Tried all of the above - didn't work.

I did try opening the site with Opera - this worked and showed me an updated website. I went back to Firefox, and it still showed the old version...?

I deleted the entire LOCAL folder and still the most recebt website iteration does not load, just an older version. How is that even possible?

Anyone else?

I'm actually considering reformatting the PC!
