flickering in thunderbird 31.0
hi there, since upgrading to 31.0 thunderbird keeps flickering, i'm running windows 7. Can someone advise what may be the cause as previous versions were completely fine.

most likely your video adapter or driver does not support Thunderbird's hardware acceleration. It was turned off by default in about Version8, but check to be sure. use the config editor to check these preferences
layers.acceleration.disabled= true gfx.direct2d.disabled= true.
